There is no requirement or even a compelling reason for a seller to have to disclose why they are selling.

For me there is a compelling reason since it might help with the sale.

Someone paid ~$150k for a vehicle then dumps it after under than 4k miles -- the question of "why" is my number 1 question followed by "any problems" and "ever been in service". Of course, there's no requirement to answer these questions when selling a vehicle but the answers to all of these questions are certainly compelling to me.

^Exactly. You don't want a lemon or a salvaged car etc. It's not a private questions, just an honest one that can help build trust when spending a large sum of money. I do it every time I purchase a vehicle, rent to a tenant, or interview a prospective employee. There is usually a good reason for the drastic change.
 
Suggest posting your price and clarify if your car is a pre-Enhanced Autopilot or not. Otherwise you will just get more questions...
