That’s interesting. CarMax was $2k higher than what Tesla offered me. No one wanted my car because it had a manual transmission.

Weird, mine was manual too!

Well here's an update guys! Made a lot of progress today.

The parts arrived for the Tesla. It's being repaired now. New door and fender.

Financing approved. I'm dropping them off my BMW this weekend because regardless I do want to sell it at this price, it was a fair offer. May go without a fun car for a couple weeks while waiting for delivery, but overall, I think it's making progress!

Here are some pics of the vehicle, looks like Elon sent all the cameras up into space and all that's left is the potato cams.

Who wants to take a guess why it looks like they took an angle grinder to the door and cut a hole in it??? I'm lost.

A friend of mine had some insight on the hole cut in the door. He said that in order to request and receive replacement parts it's common for the supplier to ask for proof of destruction. Can anyone confirm that? I'm more curious than anything ha!

Another update:

Saturday was a bittersweet day. Got approved for the financing and pre-traded in my M3. Now the wait for the P100D is real! Hopefully the repairs happen quickly and without issue and I get the car. Does anyone know if I need to take delivery before 5/1 to receive the 500$ referral credit and free supercharging?

Today is 2 weeks since ordering and so far I've gotten very few updates. Last update was that the parts to repair came in a week ago today. What's the bothering your OA etiquette?

Still no update, emailed my OA/Tesla Team today, we'll see what they say

3 weeks + 1 day since ordering. Update - Car is still in Kansas City waiting for a part before shipment. Tesla is hopefully giving me a loaner and has no ETA on the vehicle. Today is 15 days since being approved for financing and I'm almost expecting that I'll have to apply again and take the hard pull hit again because I just don't see this happening within the next 15 days before the lock expires.
