Rear Camera Slow to Respond

Since the last update, I noticed when I put my car into reverse it can take up to 15 seconds for the rear camera to appear on my screen. Is this unique to me or a bug?

I'm noticing this occasionally also, but my screen is black for maybe 3 seconds or so. It was instantaneous previously....

This has been a problem for long time over several software versions. Personally, a 15 second delay is nothing to get upset about. But as a driver within the community of traffic near me, it is a major problem. I back into my garage from a public street. I frequently back into parking stalls in public garages or lots. In both those situations, the delay is keeping other (mostly non-Tesla) drivers waiting and wondering what is going on. It puts added “pressure” on me to backup without the help of the rear camera, and thus increasing likelihood of damage to my Tesla or property. I hope that Tesla moves quickly to fix this.

This is happening to me too, yesterday it was so bad that I actually had another driver steal the spot I was trying to back into because I was sitting there waiting for the stupid camera to turn on.

Updating my previous experience: now with version 36.2.1 I no longer experience the previously reported delay in the activation of the rear-view camera. Thanks, Tesla.
