Scratch help please

HI all.

We have a Model X in metallic silver and darling husband has managed to back it into a gate leaving a rather unattractive scratch.

The chip people say it is a body shop job - is there any alternative? We are in Poole in Dorset. Thanks all.

Order the paint repair kit or Dr Color chip (retailer). Does a decent job but it'll never look brand new.

Myself, I actually used the touch up paint then covered my lower section of my FWD with PPF and it looks pretty good. I unfortunately had road rash paint damage on the bottom doors and the PPF also helped blend the surfaces between the touch up paint and regular paint.
