Side Skirts as a form of PPF

My M3P is about 2 weeks old. Already experiencing some rock chipping on the rocker panels. T-Solutions mudguards installed now so hopefully that improves things. I've been thinking about various PPF options to stop this from getting worse. I have the Tesla All Weather film ready to go on. I was considering PPF for the side skirts and front bumper. I also plan to get a CF front lip at some point which got me thinking, would side skirts be the solution to my problem? My biggest concern with the side skirts and front lip is that I really don't plan to lower the car. Some of the CF side skirts look pretty nice - my car is MSM if that matters and I would likely go matte cf to match the rear spoiler.

Anyone running side skirts and a front lip at stock ride height? Does it look awkward? Thanks.
