Because they're aluminum they lower the total weight of your car and add performance (no tire spin!). The front wheels are 51.8 lbs, while the rear wheels are 53.9 lbs.

These 4 wheels are fully mounted, balanced, and have the Tire Pressure Monitors installed by my local Tesla Service Center.
The wheels have never been mounted and the tires are brand new and never used.
