Source London 22kW Charging Station

Recently Source London announced 22kW charging points near my area and so I decided to give it a try. I noticed that on my 75D Tesla dash screen it was showing only 18kW. I asked Source London why it wasn't showing the full 22kW charge and their response was that, "according to UK Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Association (UKEVSE), the maximum charge power (Kw AC) for your Tesla Model S vehicle is 17 kW",

Yep - original single charger = 11 KW, dual = 22 KW. New high power charging 16 KW.

You can plug into a 22kW but your onboard charger limits what you can use.

DC charging via a SuC is (almost) direct to the battery so you can get a great deal.
