Spacer for back of child car seat?

I have child booster seats in my M3, and I have a couple of issues with them:
- the seats are too upright, and
- the seats cover the seat belts

My kids routinely have trouble buckling in the seat belts without awkwardly shifting the seats away from the buckles. I think a solution would be to add a spacer of some kind behind the seats, which would add some recline and might move the seat bottom off of the buckles.

Has anyone else had this issue? How did you solve it? Thanks!

@huno, I have a EXACT same problem. I have the 3 with a booster. the seat is toooooo upright. did you find some sort of wedge to prop-forward the base, to allow it to recline?

for seatbelts...i purchased seat-belt extenders. (try and find my other post on here. i think theres a photo of my solution - and the website i bought it from.. ive had the extender for both my m3 and my wifes CRV for over 2 years with zero issues. our daughter can connect her seatbelt with ease.

let me know what you did for the recline....
thx
