Drove past this last week, the construction of the Sheetz is still ongoing. Probably still going to be a while before this is opened. Nice to see more Superchargers in the area

PennDOT records now say the Clarks Summit supercharger is "not proceeding" as a NEVI funded site. Unclear if canceled or Tesla just funding it themselves to not have to deal with universality requirements i.e. legally required to have Magic Doc.

Monroeville also "not proceeding" with NEVI $ but is almost ready to open.

A couple of non-Tesla (1 Chargepoint, 1 Blink) locations were also dropped.

There are other significant requirements for the PA NEVI program, effectively including requirements that need V4, so maybe they will just proceed with plans, and if they V4 and other required systems in place, great.

I found this thread via another discussion of charging along I-81 in the Kirkwood NY supercharger thread. I'm curious if anyone local to the Clarks Summit Sheetz that's under construction has gone by it lately and seen evidence of whether there will be charging. (I'm not local and probably won't be driving that part of I-81 till early-mid May.)

Sheetz construction is near completion. No visible sign of Superchargers from the viewpoint of the road.

I drove by there this past weekend and I can't see any signs of Superchargers. But it's difficult to assess since you can only look from the road. It still looks under construction so maybe it will be different in a month or two.
