I spoke to a construction guy a few weeks ago, thinking it was a supercharger expansion similar to OG Allentown. The construction next to the superchargers is Rivian's Adventure Network chargers being built.

I knew Tesla were trying to have superchargers at every major Turnpike exit, but this one is hardly major. Glad to see Tesla is serving all of PA, although this is obvi for Turnpike traffic rather than locals in Franklin County.

PennDOT records now say the Clarks Summit supercharger is "not proceeding" as a NEVI funded site. Unclear if canceled or Tesla just funding it themselves to not have to deal with universality requirements i.e. legally required to have Magic Doc. Monroeville also "not proceeding" with NEVI $ but...

Per PennDot records, this site is no longer proceeding as a NEVI funded site. Probably because it's already built or Tesla does not want to bother with magic dock. The planned Supercharger in Clarks Summit is also listed as "Not Proceeding." Unclear if it is canceled or Tesla is just funding...

Do these have magic doc? NEVI funds would seem to require them. Perhaps the GetGo CCS's satisfy NEVI requirements. This would require that there be 4 or more.

I assume NEVI funds can be used for reimbursement of previous construction as Onvo travel plaza in Dorrance got money despite CCS/Chademos already being built.

Absolutely no progress observed.

Perhaps Tesla is getting a lower percentage of total cost of the install projects from the feds because they are installing a mix of NACS and CCS? Some states required both to be eligible for funds (Texas and I think Washington), but I'm not aware of PA doing that.

Did Virginia release their list of NEVI sites? Have not seen. Please link if you have it.

Sheetz at 551 PA-93, Sugarloaf, PA 18249. Would serve I-80 and I-81 traffic, thereby closing the huge gap on 81 between Harrisburg and Scranton while also serving local Hazleton traffic.

In my day, Philadelphia was a supercharger desert. Round trips from Harrisburg required a detour to Delaware. This will be the fifth (?) supercharger just in Montco. How far things have come! Rev: There are 4; Pottstown is actually in Chester Co.
