I believe Pensacola will also be getting 12 superchargers at one of the three new Wawas being built here, but I can't confirm 100% yet. These plans are for the Wawa being built at 8840 Boesch Lane. I'll create a new thread once I get confirmation through permits.

Certainly looks that way based on the plans. I'd think it very unlikely that they'd be putting in 12x EA or some other third party L3 chargers or any kind of L2s.

Well, it's on Supercharge.info now listed as PERMIT, and obviously this thread was created to match. I find it interesting that we now potentially have two Pensacola locations less than 6 miles apart. Makes me wonder if the original location by Academy and such by N Davis Highway is going to be canceled.

Last I drove by this address - they were still in the groundbreaking phase of construction. This was about 2 weeks ago.

WAWA had groundbreaking last week on the 4/26/2024. They stated they have 3 locations in the Pensacola area in the works. (Boesch Ln, 9Mile/beulah).

Nothing is final on EV charger but they are looking into it. We can hope. A supercharger with Magic dock would be amazing, since all the other CCS in the area are far from the interstate. Bucees locations fill up quickly so they need one in that area. I also don't see one going in on Davis and WAWA. One or the other since they both would mainly service the I10. A 2nd location in downtown would make more sense. That way it can get the navy, beach, and downtown tourist.

I wouldn't get my hops up on any new superchargers, since Tesla fired everyone on the supercharger team the other day.
Also, FPL has setup another 4 chargers down by 9th Ave and Creighton Road. They just need the transformer.
