Mine had the problem with the 8.5 upgrade. I now have 12.1.2 and it is working fine as before. I did not need any additional cables or adaptors. Tesla broke it and Tesla fixed it.

Mine stopped working a while ago, believe I was on 8.3. This weekend, got 12.1.2, and now the charger works again. No splitter required, unless you still need a USB port for your USB stick.

I just recently order the Gen 1 version off Amazon and it's been working really good for me! No issues and they even shipped out free USB Splitter cables to run dashcam and the wireless charging pad together.

Looks like an affordable alternative (a clone, really) of the Jeda, but with lights and a different solution to wired charging. At $50, it'll be difficult to justify spending more than double for the Jeda especially with their recent order fulfillment issues.

I like that one of the Q&A questions asks specifically if the pad works with the Galaxy Note 9 (that I use). I hope the answer doesn't simply mean that it will charge, but that the tall phone actually fits in the dock, which is currently possible with the Jeda.

My 5W charging pad at home really heats up the phone, I can only imagine the heat a 10W would produce.

Yeah I kinda wished I waited for the Gen 2 version but I'm happy with the Gen 1 version and who knows if the new version will have any issues in the future.
