Tesla approved body shop in Manchester, please

Has a bit of an issue with a young driver swinging across the car. Will likely need to replace the front fascia of my Model S. My insurance is asking me for a Tesla body shop - their shop declined. The Tesla website shows nothing closer to Manchester than one in Leeds.

Anyone have experience with Manchester area body shops for the Tesla?

I know one boy shop that always order parts and paint from main dealer and they do the rest. Not too sure if they do tesla

Called them - but they are no longer "authorised" to do Teslas. I guess I'll follow up with the Tesla appointment I've got booked or the company in Leeds.

When my car needed body shop attention for some delivery defects the Stockport SC sent it down to Shorade Accident Repair Centre (which is on their approved list - Body Shop Support).

Thanks. Looks like I'm going with Alton Cars in Leeds - though they have a closer branch than can do the estimate.

Make sure it is fully Tesla approved repair centre. Tesla are now disabling supercharger abilities if they deem your car unsafe.

Requires the car to be certified safe by Tesla-they charge for it by all accounts.

@12Pack how did you get on with Alton Cars in Leeds? I have a model 3 going in with them due to a large dent on the rear 3/4 panel.

They were great. Well used to Teslas- just like going to a Tesla service centre - putting the car into service mode and then having it charged and (unlike a SC) nicely valeted at the end, I’ve heard there’s a new body shop near Trafford now as well (for Mancunians).

Got mine back from Alton Cars Leeds -> no issues at all except ran a few days over.
