Tesla celebrates the delivery of more than 50,000 vehicles in Denmark. The company's cars account for almost 2% of all vehicles on the road in the country, which is a huge achievement for a young company.

Tesla continues to conquer the European automotive market, capturing an ever-increasing share. The company is continually registering new records in various countries in the region. Recently, the manufacturer achieved a new milestone in Denmark, demonstrating the strength of its brand. According to data from bilstatistik.dk, shared by Kim Gaba Jensen, Regional Lead at Tesla, via InkedIn, there are now more than 50,000 Tesla cars on the country's roads.

According to Jensen, as of 2018, Tesla has surpassed the 4,000 delivery barrier in the country. Over the next two years, the company delivered another 8,000 vehicles, breaking the 12,000 barrier in 2020. However, this was just the beginning. Just under the next three years, the manufacturer was able to deliver an impressive 38,000 vehicles, surpassing the total number of 50,000 units. Tesla's success looks impressive and is largely due to its Model Y. According to Jensen, of all the cars in the country, 20,000 are Model Ys, which underscores the SUV's appeal. Thus, thanks to strong sales, Tesla holds almost 2% of the car market share in Denmark.

It should be noted that Tesla's success was made possible thanks to Giga Berlin. The factory produces Model Y for the European market. Now customers from European countries do not have to wait for delivery from the Chinese Tesla factory but can receive cars as soon as possible after ordering. Giga Berlin can produce approximately 5,000 Model Ys per week to meet demand.
