Tesla M3 roof racks back in stock

Just got an email from Tesla to say their M3 roof racks are back in stock if anyone is interested….

Are they the best roof rack? How do they compare with third parties?

I have them and am very happy with the quality. I used to take them on and off for long trips but no longer bother because my range does not appear affected nor can I discern wind noise (unless I attach something to them). I am always very careful with the torque and placement because I do not want to damage the glass. No idea about third party ones but in my experience it would be difficult to better these Tesla ones. I have heard of whistles from the track in one third party product but that is hearsay.
