Tesla Warranty

I have tried searching but couldn't find anything conclusive.

In reference to the 8yr/120k mile warranty covering 'Battery & Drive Unit'. What exactly is the 'power unit'?

I'm familiar with powertrain and drivetrain etc which mean different things but in this instance is Power Unit essentially the motors that drive the car?

I believe that the Power Unit directs power from the battery to the drive motors.

Yes; the drive units (front and rear) are sealed units that contain the electric motors and also the reduction gear, drive unit fluid (for lubrication). There is no conventional transmission in the Tesla Model Y.
