I have a P3D (non-P) with 18” Turbine aftermarket wheels from EVDirect and the stock Michelin Primacy MXM4 tires at 20k miles now with a tread rating of about 4/32. I could still manage about 3-5k more miles but when it’s time to replace the tires, I plan to install Continental Purecontact LS 245/50/18 for all 4 tires - wider tire and larger profile, larger sidewall.
Should I not do that size? Will there be issues? Rubbing? Speed errors? I want extra cushioning for a quiet comfortable ride with the PureContact LS all-season grand touring tires.
