I have 4 Tesla OEM Gen 2 TPMS units that I don't need. These have only been used for a short while. If you don't know whether you need Gen 1 or Gen 2, the answer is that if you have a Model X or 3, you definitely need Gen 2. If these are for a Model S, you need Gen 2 if your VIN is greater than P50900 (which equates to an approximate build date of Sep 2014 I think).
