Trouble with Torx screw under driver's seat

I'm trying to remove the T20 screw underneath the driver's seat so I can get better access for modifications, however the screw seems stripped. 2021 M3.

As much as I turn it, it doesn't unscrew, just turns in place.

Tried both directions and pulling down on the plastic at same time. The space is too tight for anything other than a stubby bit driver. I don't have a good 90 degree tool, either.

Any ideas on how to proceed? Searched all over but haven't found any one else asking this.

Thanks for helping my mediocre tool skillz.

Figured it out.

Took a pair of pliers, squeezed the top and bottom of the screw, then wiggled it up and down to reset the threads. Luckily there was space to wrap around the edge to do this. The T20 unscrewed with more force required than expected.

The passenger's side didn't have this problem.

Hopefully this helps someone else in the future with same problem.

(both seats now have lumbar massagers! 😍)
