Im looking at a cpo right now and called to see if I could photos or get a refund if it was in bad shape... she forwared my info to used sales and said 24/48 hours... yea I doubt the car will still be available by then.

How much fuss did they give you when you requested a refund?

Looks like they put it back up for sale with the original higher price point

Damn, Tesla's CPO program is shady AF

Their CPO program really is shady AF. Someone at Tesla really needs to reconsider the harm the current CPO Program is doing to their reputation and do the right thing and fix this.

Here's the price history for your car. Look how all over the place the prices are and how they have no correlation to the poor condition of the car.

After you refused delivery of the car because the car they presented looks like it came out of a junk yard with a hole in bumper, they just put the car back in their inventory and RAISED the price by an additional $14,400.

So now some other unlucky person is going to have their time wasted, hopes dashed, and their good will towards Tesla lost when they see the car and have to reject the car in disappointment.

How can they sell cars in such a shady way and treat customers so poorly? No car dealer would treat customers this poorly.

I’ve been looking at purchasing a CPO for a handful of weeks now. While I know that the prices drop on a daily basis (although they do occasionally raise prices), the one thing I haven’t figured out is what time the price drop actually occurs. Anyone know the answer? Thanks.

Check out ev-cpo, you can setup notifications with an inexpensive subscription that allows you to watch for anything from specific VINs to criteria search based on a model and options you want. Additionally when vehicles I’m yoir search change due to price drops or new results, they will email you.

When I was shopping for my P85D I saw price changes around 1am PST and sometimes during the day as well.
