Used Model S 2016, is there a way we know manufacturer date by carfax title registered?

Hi,

Im looking to purchase a used 2016, i know there is no way we know which month from the VIN, but is there a way we can tell by carfax "Vehicle purchase reported Titled or registered as personal vehicle" ?
it show that it was in 12/17/2016 , is that mean the car is in production after October for AP2 ?

No, it could easily have been an inventory, or loaner, car that was built prior to October.

You should be able to tell if it is AP2 very easily by pictures. (Look for the cameras on the B pillars and the repeaters on the front fenders.
