I had the TeslaOffer Electric Frunk installed today, and it's impressive in operation. It makes opening and closing the frunk automatic and easy, with no risk of damage when the frunk is closed (look ma, no hands).
I paid $500 for the device but I know there's a group buy active with another retailer of the same product that should result in substantial savings. It works with the fob, which I always have with me, as well as the Tesla phone app. You can also open it with the touchscreen, but regrettably, not close it.
If you open the frunk frequently, this device is worth every penny.
