Volk TE37 Model X Fitment

ET25 9.5" all around would look pretty good I think. pick your diameter from 19 to 26's, lol. I bet the fitment for F30 BMW's would work (20x10 square ET30) with a small spacer up front on the pre-refresh cars, or probably no spacer on the refresh cars. Refresh will need more like an ET30 probably, it's ET40 front and 35 rear I think

Both are pretty tucked in from the factory, pre-refresh is 9" ET35 up front, 9.5" ET40 rear. People have done 10's up front and 11's in the rear for sure

TE's would look awesome on an X. Obviously. Everything looks good on TE37's. Don't tease us, make it happen

My 2016 MX P100D with Volk Te37 in 2017.
Stock width. 20x9 et30. 20x10 et30.
Same car. Now wrapped in 3M satin perfect blue with Volk Te37 plastidip piano black.
Wrap and plastidip pretty worn, more than 1 year old.
But it still gets compliments even tho its almost 6 years old!

Waiting on my refresh MX LR/6 and wanted to get some opinions on te37 fitment.

option 1: 20x10 et30 all around
option 2: 20x10 et30 front, 20x11 et32 rear

What do you guys think? pros/cons when it comes to range and handling?

Option 1.
If I could do it again, that's what I would do to allow rotation of front wheels to rear.

BTW does the refresh have the same bolt pattern and offset as the 1st get MX?

Offset is flipped vs. the old ones, higher offset in front, lower in the rear, but it's just a 5mm swing I would think 10" wide ET30 should still work - and yes bolt pattern/center bore size is the same
Refresh 20's
  • Size: 20X9.0" Front, 20x10" Rear
  • Offset: +40 Front, +35 Rear

Pre-refresh slipstreams are 9.5" ET40 rear 9" ET35 front, mostly

Depends how much tire you cram on it IMO. If you stick with a 275 all around I wouldn't think it would matter much, for instance. Tesla uses quite a bit of stretch on the other cars I assume because less tire out in the wind, less flex in the sidewall = better efficiency
