What does Tesla charge for a Two month old Model 3 early lease termination?

asking for a friend. They picked up a Tesla 3 two months ago after a year of waiting. It’s leased for three years and after the first two months they found out they have to leave the country. Anyone know what tesla would charge for early termination?

They need to contact tesla to ask. Their lease cost obligation should be spelled out in the lease they signed. They owe the difference between the value at the end of the lease (residual) and the sales price, or "their monthly payment X months left on lease".

Tesla could also evaluate the value of the vehicle and charge them less than that, but the above is the obligation.

It will likely be cheaper to try to transfer it to someone than buy it out.
