More like piss poor assembly from the factory or masking tape were used for final paint polishing and not fully removed. Only issue is that its an eyesore...

I think it is a piece of protective film they put on during shipment.

Just some tape or protective cover left over from shipping. Not an issue, have had left over shipping wrap on pretty much every car I ever bought new.

I had 2 bits of masking tape inside the car and an unused wheel weight on the back seat when I collected my model 3

All part of the fun
