What is this mapping issue?

I am sure this is a common problem now, my coworker has the same issue on his MY. There a black panels of black mixed into the regular map background.

Odd maps. On the way to Santa Barbara from Indio, CA there are numerous mixed black shapes on the screen. I am assuming they are reservations.

Last Friday I noticed that suddenly large black sectors and several small checkerboards appeared on my navigation screen. Are they reservations? I think they should be simply outlined. As it is now the screens can become very confusing.

I havent seen any answers yet, but, as you mention, there are threads in multiple subforums on this topic. I know there is at least 1 each in model Y and 3 subforums. Both ryzen and intel atom cars as well. Something obviously got screwed up somewhere.
