My understanding when I purchased my car at the end of last year was that we got 12 months subscription as part of the purchase and the cost would be ~$100/year after the first year.

I got Sr plus so apparently wasn't included. I heard in US they already started charging.

I picked up my SR+ yesterday, I have premium features enabled at least for the month. Was watching YouTube while charging on 4G. They seem to not know what is happening themselves?

My SR+ currently has had free mobile data since I picked it up in December, but I'm confident this will eventually stop, it's just a matter of time. Obviously they have not completed the software/infrastructure needed to charge for it in AUS, but once they get on top of it, us SR+ owners will lose our free lunch.

Suspect just waiting to see how the US works out.

Personal think a 3-way plan would be better.
- Basic - No data, can tether
- Audio - Access to online music/podcasts only, live traffic (say $5/mth)
- Everything - Internet and video ($10-15)
