Will tesla fix this rear hatch gap? Just noticed it after 1000km since delivery

It doesn’t quite show in the pictures but I can fit my finger into it on the right side picture and see into the inner frame

When scheduling through the app it states that exterior cosmetic is not covered under warranty..

No they will just say it’s within spec even if you did catch it at delivery unless it’s so misaligned it’s leaking water or something. At least in the US, cosmetic issues have to be reported within 100 miles.

Alright thanks for the input, I am suffering from booming and pressure and wonder if this is part of the cause

How dyi is it to loosen the bolts and shift it over a couple CM’s?

Indeed, it's hard to see. It is possible that they may fix it. The fix is often easy, it's just loosening some of the bolts and tightening them back.

Pay close attention to how the hatch lines up with the roof and rear quarter panels. Shifting the hatch to make the bumper/tail light gaps even might make everything else worse.

There just seems to be a lot of variability in Tesla build quality tolerances so it’s likely you won’t be able to achieve 100% perfect fitment all around.
