I would buy the Tesla Roof Racks and have them mount them .
Why I got my new Y and Tesla could put them on because the
Roof glass was biased to one side. Got a service appointment
to get the Roof redone . If you put them on and the roof is out of
spec, which it well might be , You will be paying for the new roof.
Also if it breaks despite this it's still on Tesla to fix it.
I like the fact that the aftermarket guys include a torque wrench
the Tesla Tech's don't carry one at least mine didn't

Somebody should sell some width gauges for the glass.
Also on the new glass you can hardly see the new markings for
the alignment points for the J hook .
