    Enphase Solar and Powerwall integration

I've had Enphase and PW2 installed since 2017. This is a common problem AFTER adding a PW2 to the Enphase. The solution to get production/metering information is to run a line for power from the box that goes straight from where the Solar generates power BEFORE it connects to the Tesla...

How do the Powerwalls switch from time based control to backup

If you're confident that you have enough charge and DON'T want to charge from the grid during a PSPS (and Storm Watch), you have to manually de-select Storm Watch... When mine goes on Storm Watch, in the Summer, and rates are 61¢ a kWh and the house tries to charge from the grid instead, I turn...

Anyone missing a model S in Southern California?

How much was the fob upgrade? (I should've requested that when the ranger was here last week.)

Does tesla automatically know if you transferred title?

Private transfer of legacy free lifetime supercharging is tied with the car. Especially lower VIN S and X. In order for our brother to be able to use the App, or work with Tesla for service, you probably should transfer it to him As far as letting Tesla know, I believe that's in the My Tesla...

Tesla support for powerwall sales options?

My panels are 8 years old, so my summertime peak is 40 kWh of production and last Summer was the least amount of time that I've hit that peak... It takes my system 2 days to fill up the batteries from empty, That's why my reserve is 50%. My production is reliably in the 30-34 kWh in the...

Tesla support for powerwall sales options?

I'm on SCE. So the tariff is TOU-D-A. It's a whole house TOU account. I have 3x Powerwalls, so I have to cycle 40.5 kWh per week. During each day, I cycle from 8-10kWh through the batteries during peak hours (2pm-8pm nowadays, used to be 12-6pm when I first started on the program.)... So...

Tesla support for powerwall sales options?

The SGIP requirements is effectively the size of the batteries you have over 52 weeks. So, you can cycle through greater than that in some times, and then little in others. The settlement is annual, much like solar itself. In my case, I usually use 20% M-F in the Winter, and greater in the...

Congratulations to the Porsche Taycan folks as the current EV Cannonball Run record holder vehicle!

The Taycan is the best Porsche they make... but that's because I'm an EV only guy. So, this was great news... Tesla getting competition is good, helps to keep them going forward!

Tesla support for powerwall sales options?

If you're on net metering, quick rule of thumb for Californians is the PowerWalls don't really save you money. It does provide you with backup for PSPS events. I'm on SCE and have three PW2 since August 2017. It's awesome to have, great that the PW2 is there as I've had several power outages...
