What tires are on the wheels, and how much thread left on each of the tires? Can you attach some pictures?

New model Y seven seater picked up on 04/09/2021. Anyone know what the cup holder metal ring is about? My older 2020 model Y did not have this ring in the cup holder.

This is not always the case. I’m on my 4th Tesla, and I received a VIN on the website but no email for my Model Y 7 seater. Would be great if they did send an email in all cases, but they don’t.

Do you recall if the 2nd row seats in the 7 seater any more or less comfortable compared to the 5 seater? I am interested in any comfort changes for the 2nd row in regard to thinner cushions or other material changes outside of the sliding rails.

I had to look it up too, so don’t feel bad. The design is not nearly as intuitive on the X as it is on the 3/Y, which is on Tesla. Once you figure it out as mentioned above, it’s easy. But on the 3/Y it’s easy to find without having to read the manual or googling it.

Happy to hear those air suspension parts are so much cheaper and last longer than my prior rovers. Looking forward to it. Honestly that expense, and the hassle when they fail and leave you on the bump stops able to drive at 25mph max, was a major factor in buying the 3 and the Y, and not the X...

You ordered all-weather from Tesla to replace the default carpet floor mats that were coming with it anyway, or you had to specifically add on floor mats because it didn’t come with any type of floor mat?

What floor mats come in delivered a 2021 vehicle? In my model 3 in 2019, there were no (zero) floor last of any kind, just bare. I ended up purchasing after market mats. Odd spot for Tesla to save a few bucks, but not a big deal. They had no floor mats of any type to sell to me when I picked it...

Can you highlight where the damage is on the wheels? I only saw 2 tires images no wheels, and aside from a swirl mark, could not see anything of note on the tires.

After driving around in my Model Y for a week, second guessing myself if I should have waited for the 3rd row, I still have no idea how they will fit in a 3rd row unless it is rear facing. It would be awesome if they pull of a design with functional 3rd row seats, but I still cannot picture it.

Call you nearest sales center and ask them. You be surprised how reasonable the people are when you get someone on the phone. I’ve always found local sales desks at Tesla helpful and friendly.
