Hmmm now that you mention that, I noticed this morning that the click seemed much quieter than usual or maybe even non-existent but wasn't sure if that was just because I had my windows open so couldn't hear 🤔 Will need to listen out again soon.

If the rolling metallic cannister sound happens when you're doing sharp turns at low speed I tend to get this too and have just ignored it! All the other items you should definitely get them to sort, and you might as well ask them to check that sound too while it's in (but it might be normal).

Why is it ridiculous? People with cars that have spoilers and tinted windows are more likely to be involved in accidents - so it's totally reasonable that their insurance is, on average, higher.

Potentially - this is a car park with 60-70 spaces (but only 8 or so EV spots), so the coordination might become a faff...people just need to park in the other spots when they don't need the EV ones!

The 4m cable supplied with the Tesla has definitely been a big help! I also "threatened" to block him in if I needed to charge...he shrugged, so I'm taking that as a greenlight :)

My flat's underground car park has a handful of parking spots with electric chargers. There's a persistent issue where both ICE drivers and EV/PHEV drivers park in those bays...even when the latter aren't plugged in and charging! Totally frustrating - fortunately I don't need to charge...
