2023 Model Y A/C - is it me or is it crap

This is exactly it. I’m hoping there is some kind of calibration issue as the test drive car last year was spot on when I was messing around with it. Seems point just above the steering column no matter where I set it!

2023 Model Y A/C - is it me or is it crap

Yea I ended up trying manual and all sorts to get the temp to stay down. The test drive car I had last summer before I purchased seem to feel ice cold which is why I wanted to ask.

2023 Model Y A/C - is it me or is it crap

Hi All, So we finally have some nice weather, and I like to keep my car cold. However my Model Y even when set to LO is just not kicking out that cold air. Il add to the fact that it isn’t cold, the directional fans in the front don’t seem to point where I face them in the screen. Has anyone...

LFP Model Y battery drain whilst on Holiday

Thanks for all the responses, sounds like a non-issue. First time hauling the family to Gatwick and leaving the car for a period of time, didn’t like the idea of returning on a 9 hour red eye to go sit at a charger :-)

LFP Model Y battery drain whilst on Holiday

Hoping someone in the forum can help, we are going away end of the Month for 16 days and thinking of taking the Tesla to the Airport. Has anyone had experience of leaving a car that long and what the drain would be on the battery. Airports should mass install 3-PIN plugs on a load of spaces to...

    Model Y tyre replacement

Running a Model Y RWD since September last year, 14k in the clock and it looks like the rears are getting close to the tyre markers. Wondering if anyone else has seen quicker wear on the RWD, I’m doing mainly A road commute and round town with a couple of Motorway runs chucked in. Incredible...

Tesla Model Y - have I made a huge mistake

I had a puncture within weeks of getting my Model Y, was a company car so AA out to plug the hole and tyre company 2 days later (it’s a bastard tyre to source apparently). OP would have had a notification in the morning as did I, perhaps when the car woke up for some reason, would be pretty crap...

    [UK] 2024.2

2024.2.6 on 2023 MY RWD… is it me or did the wipers start working properly?! I haven’t had to intervene since the update!!

Tesla UK Tyre order lead time?

I had a flat on my model Y 2 months in, luckily a lease car(Company Car). However LeasePlan so bit laborious. I’m in Basingstoke so not far off but they insist on using ATS, who took 2 weeks to get the tyre in as it’s and EV tyre and specific and blah blah blah… I didn’t even consider sourcing...

    So… Highland is out…

it’s a new model, imagine there is plenty of demand no matter the season… also indicated by people buying at a high APR. It’s a common strategy for a mid-high range vehicle in UK.

    So… Highland is out…

Sounds like it will squeeze under the Tax grabbing government in 2025 for premium car tax, that’s got to have some weight to the strategy?!

Premium connectivity got much worse signal

I had this and spoke to an engineer on the phone, as my background is mobile networks I managed to get quite technical with him. For me the issue stemmed from EE not allowing the KPN roaming SIM onto a certain Band in the area of issue for me(regular daily commute through the countryside). As...

    Driver seat creases in bolster

Completely agree, my Y is 6 months old tho… I usually keep my cars for 4 years 80k miles and haven’t had an underlying foam issue, but yes some leather creasing would be expected, that’s what I thought it was at first but you can feel the crease or degradation underneath.

    Driver seat creases in bolster

I also feel the crease, as in there seems to be a weakness in the actual bolster foam/filling. As you say it will never improve just collapse further over time. I love my Tesla but never got this on any previous cars
