    FSD V11 Software Crash Frequency

I have FSD V11.3.6 and over the last week I've had 3x FSD Software crashes. It hasn't been dangerous as my Tesla screams at me with loud beeps and the visual red steering wheel of death flashing. Its very obvious you need to take control. After maybe 3 to 5 seconds of warning, my M3's display...

    Brief FSD beta 11.3.6 report

My experience is opposite yours 🙃 The entire past year of updates showed no improvement to me and V11 is a significant improvement

Latest FSD - Autosteer not available

I'm on 11.3.6 now and get the 'not available' constantly on the streets. Never on the interstate i dont think. When it happens, it says it over and over. Pressing the stalk every 3 to 5 seconds. I end up just rapid fire mashing the stalk and it eventually kicks in. Weird...

    I'm actually shocked at V11.3.4

It has definitely tried to kill me in the past, but not for about a year or so. I said that above, and yesterday it might have gotten a little homicidal for the first time in a long while with me at the wheel. My V11.3.4 '18 M3P FSDb was engaged on a downward sloping fairly straight on ramp to...

    I'm actually shocked at V11.3.4

Just noticed I flubbed my lanes in the example descriptions, just like FSD of old :) Thanks for the responses. I may re-review some release notes and try to see what traditional control loop logic shifted to NN and the effect. May be an interesting study. I'm a firmware engineer in a kind of...

    I'm actually shocked at V11.3.4

My opinion of FSD has been pretty low for a long while now. I got FSD Beta in the 2nd 'original wide' groups in Oct '21. The ending months of 2021, FSD was a toy, but a potentially lethal one. It tried to kill me 3 times. I engaged in a parking lot with a stop sign to the main street about 10...

    FSD Beta v11.x

Nope, no issues as I still haven't gotten the stupid thing. Tesla's 'wide rollout' is not very wide at the moment. My inner 5 year old is getting impatient 🙃

    FSD Beta v11.x

I giggle a little when I see a semi truck driving in blocked lane at the same speed as the traffic in the through lane, blocking all the line cutters. And when road raging blocked lane drivers try to cut around the truck in the emergency - the truck then splits the emergency and blocked lanes...

Used model s buying dilemma (UK)

My wife's model '15 S P90DL sucks up the juice as well comparatively to my M3P. About 320wh/mi I believe is fairly average for her. She likes her heat and 80MPH interstate driving. Can't say I pay attention to miles displayed at charged state vs actual miles driven, just the wh/mi value. I...

Free supercharging vs Full self driving (POLL)

Not how the robotaxi fleet will work I think. All Teslas with the hardware required of FSD can have FSD SW pushed to them, whether you bought it or not. Very likely in the future, all Teslas will have FSD installed, but it will be crippled based on what you paid for. Vanilla AP will be FSD with...

I just received V11! -- but not really?

Same thing happened to me exactly. And I jumped the gun and made a post "FSD V11 for the masses!!" lol

The Major Problem With FSD That Tesla Won’t Acknlowledge

Used model s buying dilemma (UK)

Model S's sold pre-Feb 2020 with 70kwh or higher packs have an 8year + unlimited mileage warranty that might attract you as well. Must be purchased through a 3rd party (not Tesla.com's used inventory) to retain that I believe

What are people that bought Full FSD doing?

No, I mean a non-interstate 4 lane hiway, FSDb is active on those. While on the interstate in my case, I don't use NoAP either and prefer to use the auto lane change on my say so.
