    Show off your aftermarket wheels.

We’re you aiming for poking out or was it a consequence of only available size sort of thing?

N2ITIVE Adjustable Camber Arms and Camber King Toe Arms, Pasadena Area

The basic rubber bushings were torqued down without vehicle weight on the car, the other spherical bushings are fine I’m told. I sent video and pics to n2itive and they said they were not damaged. After some back and forth they provided an entire set of bushings under warranty.

Model S Camber King adjustable Toe Arms (used)

Camber King adjustable toe arm links. They work flawlessly. I removed bc I thought the issues with rear were a result of the toe arms. Ended up being the camber arms. I paid about $300 with tax and shipping last year. I’m asking $200. Located in S Pasadena.

Parking brake rattles when not engaged; video

Update: Both parking brake calipers now rattle back and forth, even after I tried a trick with grease and aluminum foil to fill the gap. They rattle on the slides, if that makes sense.

Is there an update on out of warranty battery replacement cost

For a new 90kwh (no longer new 85’s) $25,780, installed. Plus, they get my old battery to refurbish and sell for $13,000 installed with just 12 month warranty. It’s an ugly time in reality for high mileage S owners.

Parking brake rattles when not engaged; video

Thought just occurred to me to test drive after I remove that parking brake caliper. Just unplug while in tow mode, then unbolt. That test drive idea is a no-brainer but I didn’t think about it until now.

    Rear Axle Clicking

FYI, two years later: I’ve had my axle splines lubed with heavy-duty molybdenum grease to address the issue, and it worked! For about 2-3 months it was nice and smooth, but the clicking returned. I had it done again but the service manager said it probably would wear off in the same time frame...

No more Uber Credits or loaners after warranty expiration

PLUS your hourly rate goes from $175 to $215 without warranty in SoCal. Emphasis on people with a warranty getting unapproved work done receive a normal inflated hourly rate, while OG Tesla’s? They get reminded. “GO DIE ON A TOILET ALREADY YOU INBRED HILL PEOPLE!” No it’s more like… “thx again...

Parking brake rattles when not engaged; video

I tried that… It may seem like an issue for others but for me it was not. I even took the rear seats out just to be sure. The actual sound I hear while driving is my parking brake caliper. Left rear parking brake caliper is silent.

Still no regen after replacing ABS sensors; other errors remain 2012 S

I powered off and left it overnight. Not sure if the wheel bearing had anything to do with it??

Still no regen after replacing ABS sensors; other errors remain 2012 S

The energy consumption may have been a separate issue. It has now been remedied, but it was warming my battery for supercharging no matter what. Even when the car was sitting for a full day and I lost 11% battery, it was continually keeping battery at optimum charging temperature. Eek! The...

Parking brake rattles when not engaged; video

I’ve been hunting down this rattle in the right rear. Seems it has been the parking brake caliper, or outer pad, slapping the rotor. What’s the fix? I think it’s happening on both sides but just focusing on one side for now. Parking brake pad slap

Still no regen after replacing ABS sensors; other errors remain 2012 S

For record’ sake, when I removed the right rear wheel bearing the tone ring was still in there, just leaning on the axle. The new SKF wheel bearing installed easily and the problem with no regen, etc, went away. Avoid TRQ wheel bearings. Not even a full year old.
