Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

I don't think so: 1) Nvidia's latest GPU which isn't sold yet has a system level architecture that's much closer to the Dojo architecture than before, so Tesla seems to be on the right path from that perspective. 2) Dojo is still on silicon version 1, as far as we know. The next iteration...

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

But isn't it detrimental to the company directly? Instead of a influx of cash due to the option exercise, they now have to issue shares for free? And that won't cause any tax consequences/cash-outflow at all? A company neutral exchange would be to issue those 29m shares as options with same...

Well, they ask for 10% of what they saved. So that would be Options on 29m shares with a 5 year holding requirement, vesting only if being an officer of Tesla....

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Well, tomorrow is between now and March 2024 as well... ;) But seriously, the currently estimated production speed of around 10 cars/day with about 100 days to go lines up pretty nicely with a worst-case scenario of steady state production rate. They are filling the pipeline and if the rates...

Did they cut themselves by combining all models into one group to qualify for the materials requirements this year, and now all are falling out of the credits although the LR alone would qualify? Although, this is Model 3 only, maybe they're using external 2170s (LG?) as well?

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

The last ER-call declared continuing significant production improvements. And clarified that the past production numbers were based on a single production line, with a second line now starting as well. With 2 more being prepared. So they are now scaling both on yield and parallel ramp-ups.

Honest question, is there any evidence that Musk pushed for the removal of the stalks against advice of the design/engineering team?

But isn't this an interest free credit? If you get a car at the beginning of Q1 you can pay back the 7500$ at the end of Q4?

Tesla, TSLA & the Investment World: the Perpetual Investors' Roundtable

Well, Austin was just shut down for almost 2 (?) weeks. Rumors are to rearrange the whole line (and maybe even add an additional line for MY...) Then troy might add some time to ramp back up again in Q4.. Berlin was claimed to move from 3 shifts/7 days to 2 shifts/5 days only. So if that is true...

    Investor Engineering Discussions

Hm, using up all that internal luggage space for the rear opening. With all that engineering effort wouldn't it have been easier to create a rear hatch that opens up left, right and up both hinged and as a sliding door...?
