Just an update on my situation. Took to service in Mississauga and at first the quote was for control arms and then they came back to advise the bushings were cracked and the entire lateral links needed to be replaced. 3k ouch.

Not to high jack this thread but feel like I’m going to be dealing with this soon…curious if anyone has had success dealing with replacing brakes outside of Tesla service in the GTA to save some $$?

Need to check my invoices but I’m guessing below 1k. During my research on this I remember reading someone say that this is probably one of the most common reasons for bringing your Tesla to the mechanic. I’ll take a look at buying the parts perhaps and finding an independent mechanic. Thanks.

First off…I love my LR 2018 Model 3… BUT the creaking sound is back…again. The creaking sound is most noticeable while parking (slow speed). Happened before x2 and so I’m pretty confident it’s the control arms. I have had the control arms replaced twice. Is this a common problem that I should...

Just happened to me today. Preconditioned cabin before our trip and everything worked great as per usual. 10 minutes in and heat no longer worked and message that climate keeper unavailable due to system fault. M3 2018 LR. Tried to reboot and nothing. Booked service for Monday. -30 windchill...

So just received my M3 back from Tesla with the windshield fixed: 1300$. Could not find any 3rd party companies to handle this. Talked to my insurance who advised that only Tesla is able to fix this and that you would have to go through a reimbursement claim instead of working a claim through...
