Just an update on my situation. Took to service in Mississauga and at first the quote was for control arms and then they came back to advise the bushings were cracked and the entire lateral links needed to be replaced. 3k ouch.

Not to high jack this thread but feel like I’m going to be dealing with this soon…curious if anyone has had success dealing with replacing brakes outside of Tesla service in the GTA to save some $$?

Need to check my invoices but I’m guessing below 1k. During my research on this I remember reading someone say that this is probably one of the most common reasons for bringing your Tesla to the mechanic. I’ll take a look at buying the parts perhaps and finding an independent mechanic. Thanks.

First off…I love my LR 2018 Model 3… BUT the creaking sound is back…again. The creaking sound is most noticeable while parking (slow speed). Happened before x2 and so I’m pretty confident it’s the control arms. I have had the control arms replaced twice. Is this a common problem that I should...

Just happened to me today. Preconditioned cabin before our trip and everything worked great as per usual. 10 minutes in and heat no longer worked and message that climate keeper unavailable due to system fault. M3 2018 LR. Tried to reboot and nothing. Booked service for Monday. -30 windchill...

So just received my M3 back from Tesla with the windshield fixed: 1300$. Could not find any 3rd party companies to handle this. Talked to my insurance who advised that only Tesla is able to fix this and that you would have to go through a reimbursement claim instead of working a claim through...

Sent a message to autodent (see above) and they quoted me at 125$ to 150$. Might give them a shot. They mentioned that the model 3 can be tricky due to the brace being located near my ding. Let u know if I get to it this week.

Yes. I even went to my tire guys in TIRES 23 (great place for tires BTW—they’re located right by there) and they knew of him but said they didn’t know where he went. I’ll update the thread if I find someone or locate the above mentioned.

Hey just an FYI to the community—tried reaching out to T in every form of communication and he is missing in action —even went by the address and looks like it’s no longer there. I’ll be searching elsewhere and update the thread.

Anyone have a recommendation for paintless dent repair in the GTA. Have a small ding on the drivers side door that I’m trying to ignore but it keeps staring at me...I can’t let it go.

Happened to me today. Had to put down the back seats and crank up the heat. Couldn't believe it...wasn't even that cold outside. What's going to happen in the heart of the winter? Man I hope tesla comes up with a fix. Love this car but this is not good!

Ya it’s coming down in Toronto! Let’s see how this works out tomorrow...on another note I was pretty impressed with the model 3 in the snow...no winter tires yet and it still managed quite well.

Me too (sept 8). Received an email from Tesla reminding me of the 90 day deadline—probably standard for all owners. I applied the same day to the ministry and have the standard email back that they have received my application. Is it a good idea to call and double check that they have received...

I had a cheque for the estimated amount then the contract was posted on the same day as pick up. Called and was advised to simply bring a personal check of the difference—couple hundred dollars.

Ya picked up last night from Oakville. It was rammed with M3's! The highest percentage were black. Although it was a bit quick for me I was just happy to be getting it!!
