    Winter tire recommendations

Can confirm on Blizzaks. 5th season in, probably near EOL, but the tires have defintely firmed up on my Acura. Definitely not the grip they once had, but they still “work”.

    Retrofit for Steam

No. I actually don’t care that much about Steam. If I’m going to play a game it will be at home, not in my car. However. Elon and Tesla directly lied. Tesla continuously tries to get away with this. It literally isn’t about playing games in the car for me. I really want to like Tesla...

Steam integration for Model S built after Feb 2022 only?

So, Elon and Tesla lied. Period. And they’re going to try to get away with it. Man do I like this car, but this company is utter garbage and it’s getting worse and worse as time goes on.

    Retrofit for Steam

Sounds like playing dumb might be the key, lol. “Why don’t I have games when my buddy does, Elon said I would too!” Sigh. The fact that there still is no general policy is frustrating. We shouldn’t have to fight and scheme for something that was advertised.

Plaid center console light turns off when fully opened?

I had the same issue. Same time too, 2/22. They checked their Plaid on the floor and said “works as intended.”

2022 Model S Winter Tire Question

Just updating.. Jen and Frank at Blu Mobile Tire are GREAT!! They’re former Tesla folks themselves - and man, Tesla could learn a lot from them. Right on time, super quick, friendly, and thorough. Put on the Rial Lugano 19x8.5 and Vredestein Wintrac Pros and they work fantastic. Problem...

Steam integration for Model S built after Feb 2022 only?

Not to be mean, but can we not muck up this thread with people who have 16gb cars and got steam going back and forth about details of Steam on their cars? Would be good to keep this for info on upgrades / retrofit news. Y’all who do have it have plenty of places to talk about how lucky you are. :(

Build date is also on the driver’s door pillar sticker.

2021 Model Year Refresh: Owners' Thoughts?

I think there’s a lot of chicken-and-egg going on here and both sides are right. Yes, Tesla usually issues bulletins a while after issues once they’ve got their .. stuff .. together, and they communicate poorly in the meantime. But also, many of these bulletins were probably forced by legions...

2022 Model S Winter Tire Question

Just to update: I didn’t realize Blu Mobile Tire was in CO - another poster had mentioned them. They told me they were able to get their hands on the last 4 Riial Lugano 19’s they could find this season, and are setting me up with the Vredestein tires. Have a mobile install appointment 1/6, so...

Steam integration for Model S built after Feb 2022 only?

Agreed. I’ve been getting slow motion buyer’s remorse. From not being able to find tires/wheels for the winter to save my life and then little things like this plus the service experience, and a year to get even into FSD beta. Definitely frustrating.

2022 Model S Winter Tire Question

Still extremely frustrated on this situation. Have a 2021 MSLR here in Colorado and have had to keep it in the garage last two winters due to inability to find anything suitable in stock anywhere. Really regretting getting the 21’s. Anybody in the Denver / CO Springs area had any luck? Also...

Steam integration for Model S built after Feb 2022 only?

Elon did. He verbatim said “It can play Cyberpunk.” On the “can vs will” semantics - a reasonable person standard would, and should apply.

Steam integration for Model S built after Feb 2022 only?

On the Tesla.com website and by Elon himself. If you’re going to think splitting hairs about “Steam in particular vs some other delivery mechanism” then it’s clear you A) don’t know what you’re talking about and B) aren’t discussing in good faith - the delivery mechanism is irrelevant. The...
