    Supercharger - Park City, UT

Was talking to a Tesla Serivce writer at the new Pleasant Grove, UT service center a week or two ago who told me that a site HAS been contracted with a land owner/host location. Apparently this supercharger is in permitting and should be under construction in a few months. 🤞

    Model X Snow Chain Experience

I too am not very happy! I just purchased them and have been trying to fit them. I have the K 67 size which therefore doesn’t need any adjustment aside from trading out the cap that goes over the lug nut. I’ve selected the 21/22 mm cap, and I can’t get the damn thing on for the life of me! Do...

    Delivery disarray!

No I’m venting that they can’t be responsive to emails and communicate effectively. I will respond to important emails in 60 minutes, they then take 5 to 10 days! If they are really in a big push to get cars delivered by end of quarter, and the car is already ON SITE at the delivery location...

    Delivery disarray!

Now, the topper.. finally they got the right names o this thing, produced an MVPA but failed to add the Tax, title and licensing fees. So means I’ll have to cough up that cash at delivery rather than rolling it into the loan! I just don’t get why they can’t get the little details right! This...

    Delivery disarray!

Tesla's paperwork folks are in such disarray! Reserved M3 3/31/16 during the reveal. Owner of MX since 7/16 Configured AWD M3 6/30/18 Had everything all set information-wise in "My Tesla" since early July '18 Radio silence until last 9/6 when we got scheduling email, replied with request for...

    Silver AWD configurations and deliveries

I think Tesla may be on another end-of-quarter push for deliveries. They certainly held back at the end of Q2 so as not to push past the 200k deliveries total to help us all out withe the $7500 tax credit. Now I think they are pushing for high delivery numbers. This is why.. Got email LAST...

    No Reservation required...Just order.

At this point I don't think the Prior owner status OR Reservation status is really influencing when you get your car. If I had it to do again I wouldn't have reserved.. Case in point, I am an X owner since 7/2016, in Utah, reserved during the reveal online 3/31/2016, configured 6/30 AWD, silver...

What are the flaws coming off the line nowadays like??

Finally a second flaw.. This is an old issue that finally hit my MX.. Door latches. Saturday afternoon my MX started saying the passenger door was open, when it was not.. The door was tightly latched and could only be opened using the interior handle (which resulted in it swinging open rapidly)...

    Altitude, regen and range

I have tried as much as possible to "anticipate" stops and decels in street driving so as to drive "one Pedal". As for the grades, the biggest descent was from Montage resort into Park City proper 8300' to ~ 7000' in 4 miles or so is a 45 mph road at best. The rest of the distance/highway was...

    Altitude, regen and range

Living along the Wasatch Front in Utah, I was really curious before taking delivery of my X how grades would effect the range of the car and how well the regen would recapture energy spent in hauling the car up a mountain grade. I think my latest cahrge may help everybody. I was really impressed...

What are the flaws coming off the line nowadays like??

Ranger replaced the fuze a couple of times, determined it was a problem wiper motor, so that's why they took it up to SLC a couple of days later.. All good now.

What are the flaws coming off the line nowadays like??

Found a flaw! Took 1200 miles, but it doesn't rain often in Utah during the summer! Apparently had a defective Wiper motor!. First time I used the wipers for more than a test, the wipers stopped mid windshield! It had blown a fuse. SLC Service center sent a Ranger the next business day who...
