In my case DS name was on "My Tesla" page as soon as VIN was assigned. When was first contact made? Good question. I sent an introductory email, and he responded pretty much immediately. I suspect however that without that email I wouldn't have heard anything until they needed something of me...

Ok, it's June 30th.. Time to resurrect the July thread! So my last DS communication yesterday 8 am said "Its finishing production in the next couple of day", and definitely delivered before July 11th.. In Utah, so not too far a transport.

Not so fast.. Email from my DS just a few minutes ago about my VIN 73XX 90D said "Its finishing production in the next couple of days, and we should get word of it ready to ship soon!".. So, as this and other threads have clearly shown, Model X vehicles are no where being produced in VIN order!

Finally the payment link and computation are correct and active in "My Tesla". Also reviewed temporary registration by FedEx with a "Statement of delivery outside California" form today.. Expecting to schedule delivery I next day or two!

This feature is a SAFETY issue. It allows emergency responders to access the Frunk so they can cut the power loop located in the area by the passenger (Rt) side forward of the "firewall"... This disconnects the 12v power to the battery relay, thereby disconnecting the high voltage DC battery pack.
