Supercharger - Blaine, WA - Boblett St

Waiting on the Meter. 16 v3/4 250kW stalls.

Supercharger - Blaine, WA - Boblett St

Our rate in Birch Bay is $0.09/kWh at home. Glad to see these coming to Blaine. I guess the rate will be close to the same as the other Supercharger at the Birch Bay turnoff on i5, which is $0.35/kWh. We have a much lower rate just across the border in South Surrey (1) $0.17/kWh CA$ and (2)...

Supercharger - South Surrey, BC - 160 Street

There is no commitment from Tesla that Magic Dock is coming to Canada anytime soon. They are only deploying in USA because they have a financial benefit to do so. Not to mention only about 10% of locations will have magic dock by end of 2024. Glad to see another location is South Surrey, the...

Good to see another Supercharger location in South Surrey. The SaveonFoods location on 152st is busy most of the day.

Paying Tesla bill in two countries (USA & Canada)

did you every get this resolved. I'm trying to change my country in the mobile app under settings/charging. It allows me to change to any Canadian address but the Country is grayed out (CA). My online account has my usa address. It shouldn't be hard

"New" Sources of Tesla 'OEM,' Tesla-like, and/or Third-Party CCS1 Adapters

I've tested the Tesla Authentic CCS Adapter, Hannshow CCS Adapter, and the A2Z CCS adapter. Tesla and Hansshow look and feel identical. The A2Z has a smaller footprint. For the average user charging with any of these adapters can expect similar results. I prefer the A2Z for its size and solid...

"New" Sources of Tesla 'OEM,' Tesla-like, and/or Third-Party CCS1 Adapters

I finally got to testing the A2Z ThunderStorm CCS Combo 1 Adapter. I peaked out at 206kW at the charger (203kW on the Tesla touchscreen). Very impressive. Anything over 40% should be as fast as a v3 Supercharger, as you only peak out at 250kW for a minute or so. I now can charge at almost any...

"New" Sources of Tesla 'OEM,' Tesla-like, and/or Third-Party CCS1 Adapters

Very nice. Hoping to test one of the new Electrify America locations (Signet) when they come to the west coast. Here's what I got from a local EVGO in Bellingham.

"New" Sources of Tesla 'OEM,' Tesla-like, and/or Third-Party CCS1 Adapters

Sorry, I should be more specific, Tesla Model S, Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model X, and Tesla Model Y (S, 3, X, Y). I know the old Tesla Roadster can charge using a special J1772 adapter called "The CAN" developed by Henry Sharp a member of the TMC. Don't think there is an adapter to charge at a...

"New" Sources of Tesla 'OEM,' Tesla-like, and/or Third-Party CCS1 Adapters

I can assure you that I always provide accurate testing. This video unboxes the adapter, so there is not much other than my first impressions. I will be testing at an EVGO I've tested at before on the weekend. Since these adapters are passive devices, things like the state of charge...

Looking forward to testing out the A2Z CCS Combo 1 adapter. It's smaller and more solid compared to the Tesla CCS adapter. . .
