    Model 3 Leasing UK

Hi I recently did an early termination on my leased model 3 (lease plan). I did a factory reset and requested remove my access via the app. However the old car is still in the app. Lease plan say Tesla need to remove my access to the car? Anyone else dealt with this? Thanks

    Model Y UK Delivery

I know but sometimes ignorance is bliss! To be fair they sent photos of the damage etc. I’ve actually asked them if I can conditionally accept tomorrow but just leave the car with them until it’s fixed. That way I can erase any knowledge of the damage and pretend it’s delivery day again

    Model Y UK Delivery

Handed back my M3 today to the lease company as I'm picking up my MY from Belfast tomorrow. Just had a call from Tesla to say that the car has been damaged in transport - several scratches on the bonnet and one on the driver side wing mirror cap. FFS. Of course I have 2 choices: - accept it...

My cable fits nicely in to one of the kids old school backpacks

    Your Cars Name?

Albus: car arrived on Glovis Sirius so that started the Harry Potter theme Albus means white apparently and the car is pretty magic. Sad I know for a 50 year old.

    Scheduled charging restricted to 16A

I plugging in tonight with scheduled charging mode and noticed that it was restricted to 16A (normally I get 32A). I unplugged the charging cable at the charger end and reconnected (I have an untethered charger)- it then changed to 32A - strange.

    Home Delivery to Northern Ireland?

Didn't realise that was an option when I got mine - although not sure if I'd have taken it anyway - cheap flight to Edinburgh, then made a bit of a day of it, good drive down to Cairnryan to test out the car and then easy crossing home - although it was blowing a gale so the ferry back was a bit...

Attempted burglary -- targeted because of Model 3?

LOL - scary, although mine are all outside no chance I'd get away with installing anything like that in the house with two teenage daughters to remind me I'm weird/nerd

Attempted burglary -- targeted because of Model 3?

Nightmare. Ring cameras (doorbell, spotlight cam etc) are pretty good - sirens, two way voice etc to shout expletives at them from inside without having to confront them in person plus video evidence if you need it. Needs decent wifi though.

    It's sunny today...

Has there been any guidance on low level (trickle) charge approach with Tesla i.e. what's the lowest value that you can set charge Amps to in order to restrict charging to below the output level of the Solar PV array?

    A little reassurance required

My view nearly two months in is that it's a great car and so far no issues (unlike some of my previous ICE cars). Yes it's a car but I also think you need to view it in some ways the same as you do with your mobile - it'll get regular updates to fix things, and from time to time you might need...

Rolec smart charger quote, is it reasonable?

I got a Rolec fitted a few months ago for around £550 (after OLEV grant). It's been reliable although I find I use it mostly in non-smart model. It has no earthing rod but then it is wired into the meter box outside and is earthed there.

    Northern Ireland Tesla

I picked my M3 LR AWD up in Edinburgh 18th Dec - they had charged it to 73%, however I knew it was due to be stormy that night and just in case the ferry was delayed I did a quick SuperCharge at the airport to take it to 90%. Drove down to Cairnryan in a howling gale and got home to Ballyclare...

    Holder, Creeper, Roller?

OK I was talking balls. I noticed this morning that I get a big warning saying that you can't change drive mode will driving. I changed profiles and the seat positions change etc but creep/roll/hold stays at the setting it was when you started the drive. I even put it into park at the first...

    Edinburgh SC - Ratings/Reviews/Payment

I picked mine up from Edinburgh on 18th Dec. There were 4 others collecting at the same time and they did a group demo before then sending you out to your car where you could spend as much time as you wanted to check the car over. They were happy to answer any questions and had the paperwork...
