    Model 3 Leasing UK

Hi I recently did an early termination on my leased model 3 (lease plan). I did a factory reset and requested remove my access via the app. However the old car is still in the app. Lease plan say Tesla need to remove my access to the car? Anyone else dealt with this? Thanks

    Model Y UK Delivery

I know but sometimes ignorance is bliss! To be fair they sent photos of the damage etc. I’ve actually asked them if I can conditionally accept tomorrow but just leave the car with them until it’s fixed. That way I can erase any knowledge of the damage and pretend it’s delivery day again

    Model Y UK Delivery

Handed back my M3 today to the lease company as I'm picking up my MY from Belfast tomorrow. Just had a call from Tesla to say that the car has been damaged in transport - several scratches on the bonnet and one on the driver side wing mirror cap. FFS. Of course I have 2 choices: - accept it...

    Your Cars Name?

Albus: car arrived on Glovis Sirius so that started the Harry Potter theme Albus means white apparently and the car is pretty magic. Sad I know for a 50 year old.

    Scheduled charging restricted to 16A

I plugging in tonight with scheduled charging mode and noticed that it was restricted to 16A (normally I get 32A). I unplugged the charging cable at the charger end and reconnected (I have an untethered charger)- it then changed to 32A - strange.

    Home Delivery to Northern Ireland?

Didn't realise that was an option when I got mine - although not sure if I'd have taken it anyway - cheap flight to Edinburgh, then made a bit of a day of it, good drive down to Cairnryan to test out the car and then easy crossing home - although it was blowing a gale so the ferry back was a bit...

Attempted burglary -- targeted because of Model 3?

LOL - scary, although mine are all outside no chance I'd get away with installing anything like that in the house with two teenage daughters to remind me I'm weird/nerd

Attempted burglary -- targeted because of Model 3?

Nightmare. Ring cameras (doorbell, spotlight cam etc) are pretty good - sirens, two way voice etc to shout expletives at them from inside without having to confront them in person plus video evidence if you need it. Needs decent wifi though.

    It's sunny today...

Has there been any guidance on low level (trickle) charge approach with Tesla i.e. what's the lowest value that you can set charge Amps to in order to restrict charging to below the output level of the Solar PV array?

    A little reassurance required

My view nearly two months in is that it's a great car and so far no issues (unlike some of my previous ICE cars). Yes it's a car but I also think you need to view it in some ways the same as you do with your mobile - it'll get regular updates to fix things, and from time to time you might need...

Rolec smart charger quote, is it reasonable?

I got a Rolec fitted a few months ago for around £550 (after OLEV grant). It's been reliable although I find I use it mostly in non-smart model. It has no earthing rod but then it is wired into the meter box outside and is earthed there.

    Northern Ireland Tesla

I picked my M3 LR AWD up in Edinburgh 18th Dec - they had charged it to 73%, however I knew it was due to be stormy that night and just in case the ferry was delayed I did a quick SuperCharge at the airport to take it to 90%. Drove down to Cairnryan in a howling gale and got home to Ballyclare...

    Holder, Creeper, Roller?

OK I was talking balls. I noticed this morning that I get a big warning saying that you can't change drive mode will driving. I changed profiles and the seat positions change etc but creep/roll/hold stays at the setting it was when you started the drive. I even put it into park at the first...

    Edinburgh SC - Ratings/Reviews/Payment

I picked mine up from Edinburgh on 18th Dec. There were 4 others collecting at the same time and they did a group demo before then sending you out to your car where you could spend as much time as you wanted to check the car over. They were happy to answer any questions and had the paperwork...

    Holder, Creeper, Roller?

Tried it this morning - I've set up a profile for home with roll mode and then hold in my normal profile. Worked great. I am surprised that it allows you to change profile while driving given that seat positions can change but it does so happy days. I just need to check if there is a voice...

Might try that tomorrow - will let you know how it goes.

    Holder, Creeper, Roller?

My driveway is up hill slightly on to a busy road that is supposed to be 40mph (but most a'holes don't bother sticking to that). I was using hold and really liked the not having to break, however I've had to revert to roll as it allows me to edge out to see if the road is clear and then roll...

Surf Trip with the Model 3

I didn't think to try as the board fitted in the back with just the rear seats down. I'm going to try my longboard next time which will need the front seat folded.

Surf Trip with the Model 3

Ohh - rinse kit looks like a great idea - that'll be going on the wish list. heated seats were very welcome on the way home today I must say!

Surf Trip with the Model 3

I took my model 3 on its first surf trip today - totally makes sense. My board (7'2") fits easily inside along with all the other stuff I've to take. I don't have to worry about where to put the key/lock box anymore as I put the phone on airplane mode and simply took the key card with me...

    More Uk-bound Ships?

I'm collecting on 18th from Edinburgh also after originally being told early Jan - my car was on Sirius. I have a date in my account but no email yet - I hope I haven't gone too early but I've booked my flight and ferry home. I hope the date holds but it sounds like there will be a lot of...

    Edinburgh

I've now got a collection date in my account - 18th Dec @12:30 in Edinburgh (was originally the 17th but typically I'm busy that day). Woohoo - another M3 to add to the growing contingent in N. Ireland!

    2019/20 Orders and Deliveries [closed]

Just changed my original collection date on the phone (bit of a wait but guy was very helpful). Picking up now on 18th Dec at 12:30 from Edinburgh (exactly 2 months from order which is great compared to some of the stories on here). :) (Only took about 10 mins for the change to be reflected...

    More Uk-bound Ships?

Nice. My car is supposed to be on Sirius which is in Zeebrugge, I'm supposed to be collecting from Edinburgh also but no sign of a delivery date in my account...Although I am leasing so account details might be different in that I don't think I get a final invoice

Did you order through Wessex Fleet by any chance - looks very like the email I just got from them this evening only mine is on Sirius

When and what variant did you order? It certainly looks like they are pushing out the LR and P versions much faster than SR+. Keep the faith and hopefully you'll get some movement soon.

    Model 3 Leasing UK

I hope I'm not about to jinx myself here but I can't say enough good things about my experience so far with Wessex Fleet. Really good proactive updates - never had to chase them. I ordered on 17th Oct and just got the following update "Tesla have advised your order is matched and on vessel...

    Aero Wheels

So does that mean you're selling the hub cap kit! Out of interest did you buy the official version from Tesla or the cheaper versions off amazon? I was thinking of ordering these myself but might wait until I see the Aero Wheels in person - hopefully before end of the year.

    Edinburgh

I'll hopefully be in the same position early Jan - I wonder is there a way to let Edinburgh SC know in advance that even with the GB reg because it's a lease that it's going to NI? Don't really want to start looking for a supercharger when I'm trying to catch the ferry!

    More Uk-bound Ships?

LOL - was thinking the same thing. Or Magic Mike for a slightly newer reference.

    More Uk-bound Ships?

That figures - I'm going to have to rename the car now to make reference to a boat with that name!

    More Uk-bound Ships?

My impatience got the better of me and so phoned Tesla today (01628 450660 option 4 then 1 then 1) and got speaking to a very helpful guy. He's confirmed that I have been matched to a vehicle (sounds like a dodgy dating game) and that delivery is estimated for 1st week Jan in Edinburgh. Anyone...

Yeah my car appeared in my Tesla account a couple of days after I placed the order and signed documents with Wessex/Leaseplan (although I already had a Tesla account which had the same email address as the one I was using with Wessex.) I'm not sure if it was Wessex who linked it up or Leaseplan...

New breed of Model 3 drivers out there.

I saw my first model 3 driving in to Belfast today and was tempted to give a wave until I remembered I was still in my daughter's mini (impatiently waiting my M3) and thought I'd look a bit weird.

    Are black cars unpopular?

Yep - I've just had a black Nissan x-trail for the last 2.5 years and it showed up every scratch, dust, dent. I've gone for white this time in the M3 as I'm hoping it hides a bit more in that respect. I've previously had silver cars and they were pretty good at hiding scratches etc also.

My leasing company (Wessex fleet) have asked me to re-confirm my pickup location - I've no confirmed date or anything yet as I only ordered 17th Oct. Edinburgh is my closest given I'm in N. Ireland, however is there any evidence to suggest that delivery might be quicker if I selected...

    Leasing advice

I've so far had a good price and good experience with carleaseSpecialOfers (which is essentially the web side of Wessex Fleet). Communication from them has been great and the price was one of the most competitive I got on a M3 LR AWD.

Insurance for M3 [Trying to start a mega thread]

Did you try AXA? I tested out a few before I placed my order. Axa for me was £301 compared with £376 for LV (although I've gone down the leasing route so I don't think AXA cover that scenario i.e. not the owner or registered keeper. I've a few years on you though and full NCD so hence the...
