Hi I recently did an early termination on my leased model 3 (lease plan). I did a factory reset and requested remove my access via the app. However the old car is still in the app. Lease plan say Tesla need to remove my access to the car? Anyone else dealt with this? Thanks

I know but sometimes ignorance is bliss! To be fair they sent photos of the damage etc. I’ve actually asked them if I can conditionally accept tomorrow but just leave the car with them until it’s fixed. That way I can erase any knowledge of the damage and pretend it’s delivery day again

I plugging in tonight with scheduled charging mode and noticed that it was restricted to 16A (normally I get 32A). I unplugged the charging cable at the charger end and reconnected (I have an untethered charger)- it then changed to 32A - strange.

Nightmare. Ring cameras (doorbell, spotlight cam etc) are pretty good - sirens, two way voice etc to shout expletives at them from inside without having to confront them in person plus video evidence if you need it. Needs decent wifi though.

Has there been any guidance on low level (trickle) charge approach with Tesla i.e. what's the lowest value that you can set charge Amps to in order to restrict charging to below the output level of the Solar PV array?

Tried it this morning - I've set up a profile for home with roll mode and then hold in my normal profile. Worked great. I am surprised that it allows you to change profile while driving given that seat positions can change but it does so happy days. I just need to check if there is a voice...

When and what variant did you order? It certainly looks like they are pushing out the LR and P versions much faster than SR+. Keep the faith and hopefully you'll get some movement soon.

Yeah my car appeared in my Tesla account a couple of days after I placed the order and signed documents with Wessex/Leaseplan (although I already had a Tesla account which had the same email address as the one I was using with Wessex.) I'm not sure if it was Wessex who linked it up or Leaseplan...

I also just got a VIN ordered 17th Oct via WessexFleet/Leaseplan (M3, LR, White out , black in). Long way to go but progress. I might do the lottery as well now that I'm on a roll.

I saw my first model 3 driving in to Belfast today and was tempted to give a wave until I remembered I was still in my daughter's mini (impatiently waiting my M3) and thought I'd look a bit weird.

Yep - I've just had a black Nissan x-trail for the last 2.5 years and it showed up every scratch, dust, dent. I've gone for white this time in the M3 as I'm hoping it hides a bit more in that respect. I've previously had silver cars and they were pretty good at hiding scratches etc also.

I just re-quoted with LV and my new quote is £582 - that's about a £200 increase from the quote that I got 4 weeks ago. Insurance companies cashing in on Model 3 becoming more popular....

I've so far had a good price and good experience with carleaseSpecialOfers (which is essentially the web side of Wessex Fleet). Communication from them has been great and the price was one of the most competitive I got on a M3 LR AWD.

Did you try AXA? I tested out a few before I placed my order. Axa for me was £301 compared with £376 for LV (although I've gone down the leasing route so I don't think AXA cover that scenario i.e. not the owner or registered keeper. I've a few years on you though and full NCD so hence the...
