The new (2023.26.x) Spotify app is a huge improvement!

I like the new Spotify app, except for one thing. I can't figure out how to sort my favorited artists, and the way it's currently sorted is bonkers. It's definitely not alphabetical.

Model Y Trunks. So Many Dents I see

The same thing happened to me. A friend of ours opened the trunk in a parking structure and it hit a concrete beam above us. I picked up the Tesla Paint Repair Kit (By the way, don't bother with this for the Pearl White. It looks far too gray to even get close to matching), but I never...

Apply brakes when regen barking is limited

Huh, that's strange. I've had mine on since I got the update for it, and it's never turned itself off. I might suggest trying to reboot the CMU (via holding down the two buttons on the steering wheel until the screen reboots) and seeing if that helps at all. If not, might want to check with...

    Side Mirror upgrade

I did the same as well with Suma Performance. Can highly recommend it. One bit of advice I might suggest though: go with the non-blue option. I got the blue version because the replacement pieces don't have the electrical auto-dimming, as it was suggested that the blue version would help...

    Road trip report

I've found that most, if not all, allow overnight parking and sleeping in the car. Of course, safety is all relative to where you are, but for the most part they're safe. The one thing I found a bit unsettling is just the thought that people could somewhat easily see you sleeping in the car...

    Road trip report

I have to agree with some of your points. I just got done early yesterday with a roughly 4000 mile roadtrip (WI - CA - WI). I actually didn't mind the long trip legs, but I was driving for roughly 24-ish hours straight each leg. Autopilot makes it really easy to do long stretches, especially...

    Windshield Squirter Stopped working

Definitely double-check if the fluid is leaking out the bottom of the car. If so, your washer fluid hose may have come loose. Happened to mine a few days after delivery, but was easily fixed by pulling up the cowl cover under the hood and reconnecting the hose to the hose barb.

    Model Y tint pictures

I'm going to ask a potentially dumb question, so I apologize in advance. Having never had windows tinted previously in any of my vehicles, I just want to make sure I don't screw it up. How you you guys get around not sticking window stickers to your windshield tint, if you have it? For...

Vredestein Quatrac Pro vs Michelin PS A/S 4

Hah, good question. I had to dig it up. Looks like they were 215/45R18.

Vredestein Quatrac Pro vs Michelin PS A/S 4

From what I recall, the Vredesteins handled potholes and such better than the Michelins, although the Mazda suspension was definitely squishier than Tesla's. As for why I haven't switched over to them on my Tesla, it's because the stock tires only have ~7000 miles on them and I don't want to...

Inflation Reduction Act - Tax Rebates on Home Upgrades

I'm curious if it'll be retroactive, as I just had a heat pump installed at the end of June.

What’s the consensus on factory mud flaps and PPF

Southeastern Wisconsin here, only had front flaps free. No PPF. I've since upgraded to the Rally Armor flaps, just in case. Hesitant to do PPF though. I don't have much time or patience for it.

Vredestein Quatrac Pro vs Michelin PS A/S 4

I can't comment directly, as I haven't had these tires on the Tesla, but my previous car (Mazda 3) had both of these tires during its lifetime. I greatly preferred how the Vredesteins handled, especially with regards to snow/ice. They were also noticeably quieter than the Michelins.

    Driver's seat side panel separation

I had this happen on my passenger seat. Originally scheduled a mobile service appointment for it, but ended up able to fix it myself by applying pressure in various spots on the plastic. Seemed to click right back in, and has yet to pop back out.

Easy Entry and User Profile Behavior

Yep, unfortunately that is the only solution that I am aware of. I eventually gave up on Easy Entry. I like the thought of it, but the way it's currently implemented is pretty awful.
