PG&E Electric Home Rate Plan (E-ELEC)

Hello everyone, seeking advice. I upgraded from a 2021 M3SR+ to 2022 MYLR in September 2022 and recently changed electricity rate plan from TOU-D to TOU-C based on PG&E data and searching this forum. To no surprise, my electric bills have increased mainly due to the higher kWh usage for the...

    Normal or not? Window seal.

I noticed the same creased foam seal for the RH Rear Door and the Service Center determined it was normal. This is due to the windows majority of the time being fully closed and the creases come from the window pressure.

    Windshield edge gap

Normal. All Model Y's have been this way since 2020.

    Service - No Uber/Loaner

Update — just received a response from Tesla Service: “Hi, we can only giveaway Uber Credits if the work will be covered under warranty. We have not determined if your repair will be covered under warranty yet. We will be able to make a better determination when you drop off your vehicle.”...

    Service - No Uber/Loaner

I will be visiting the Dublin-Amador Service Center for the first time, decided to not go to the Fremont Service Center after visiting 6 times for various issues. The reason I'm visiting is due to trim damages caused by a Mobile Technician last month and to address a few other things. This is...

2022 Tesla Model Y cabin noise

Sorry for the super delayed response, haven't been on the forums lately. The NVH Lead agreed to replace the Liftgate Glass at my request during the service check in. The replacement looked better, but wasn't completely flush. A few weeks later with heavy rain, I discovered water leaking from wet...

    No Sleep Parked at Home

2022 MYLR (2022.40.4.2) Since ownership at the end of September, it’s become a lot more apparent that my car never goes to sleep while parked in the garage. I hear the low humming sound hours after I’ve left the car alone with no interactions (app, opening doors, etc.) at all. The car is...

Excessive Wind Noise from the right windshield

I did not experience this until the windshield was replaced recently. It’s honestly the most annoying issue and masking it with turning the music louder is stupid imo. From various threads, I’m leaning on the root cause being poor seal installments from the factory and service centers. I have...

    Wind intrusion

It’s likely the door secondary seal, it runs vertical. If it’s not inward enough, there will be a gap when the door is closed and not create a tight enough seal.

    Wind intrusion

22 MYLR end of September delivery at Fremont. Had this issue and it took the Service Center five visits to have a 99% resolution. 1st - Technician noted no duplication after test drive. 2nd - Door adjustment inward since it was a few mm off compared to the rear passenger door. Issue still...

    Wind Noise new MYP

Update — the window adjustment did not resolve the wind noise. Now I’m led to believe it’s because of the windshield seal after it was replaced a few weeks ago. I don’t recall having this noise issue with the original windshield.

2022 Model Y LR Wind Noise.

Update: Mobile Service adjusted the window three times to get the alignment as even as possible. When the interior door panel is off, it’s only 2 screws that hold the window in place and loosened to be manually moved. They don’t any measure tools and it’s all eyeballed. The service technician...

    Wind Noise new MYP

New wind noise began after the Service Center replaced my Top Glass and adjusted body seal. My intuition was something was off. Took my MYLR back and of course the service lead said crosswind is normal. Come to find out the passenger window does not fully close, therefore cresting this gap. No...

2022 Model Y LR Wind Noise.

Welp, it looks like I may have found the culprit! I took a closer look at the passenger window to find that it’s not closing completely creating a gap between the seal and appliqué. My Y was just at the Service Center yesterday for a window regulator replacement. I asked if they would also look...
