Supercharger-Charleston, WV site possibly discovered?? [no]

No, I don't think this is anything, unfortunately. When I've driven by a supercharger site that's under construction (Lumberton NC, Santee SC, Greenville, SC), they tend to dig trenches first to the head of the parking space, and construct the charging stand, which look totally different than...

    Supercharger - Greenville, SC

Still no progress... I was able to stop by on my trip from Raleigh -> Clemson today. As others have said, it's a great location with tons of stuff nearby and easy on/off of I-85. Still no progress, however. It looks like the read headers on the charging pillars are fading from red to pink...

My Tesla Story - and why a Model S is less expensive than a Honda Odyssey

Which line in the google doc captures the cost of insurance? I'm not seeing those costs reflected, and of course, insuring a Tesla Model S is going to be substantially higher than insuring a Honda odyssey. I applaud your otherwise thorough writeup, but you can't do a total cost of ownership...

    Supercharger - Greenville, SC

That's a great location, if true. Glad to hear they're (possibly) putting it on that side of Woodruff rd, since The Shops at Greenridge are impossible to get out of (horrible traffic flow).

    Tesla Gigafactory Investor Thread

With such a large demand for solar, I'm curious how this will affect SolarCity (SCTY).

Raleigh owners: anyone notice the non-Tesla car fire by the Angus Barn?

Of course I'm not happy that a substandard wiring job for a charger is going to cause the biased media to somehow blame this on Tesla. Their bias is so blatantly wrong that it's just plain farcical at this point. As my original post is burning with irony, I thought it would be obvious that I'm...

Raleigh owners: anyone notice the non-Tesla car fire by the Angus Barn?

http://www.wral.com/-oh-my-gosh-raleigh-woman-s-snow-photo-goes-viral/13390109/ Funny how fires in ICE cars are only a news story when they're on fire on ICE. So of course, this isn't actually a Tesla on fire. As this is a hilly area, the owner of this car was probably thrashing it hard to...

North Carolina EV Road Use Tax

Yes, there are details in the thread about this from last week: http://www.teslamotorsclub.com/showthread.php/26005-NC-DOT-charging-pure-EV-owners-100-year-in-lieu-of-gas-taxes

NC DOT charging pure EV owners $100/year in lieu of gas taxes

Figured this would be coming, but I thought they'd wait until they had more BEV cars on the road... Looks like the Volt/Range extended cars won't be affected. NCDOT News Release From the article:

    Supercharger - Lumberton, NC

Webcams would be a great idea, but I think it's just the parking lot lights at a weird angle.

    Supercharger - St Augustine, FL

I'm actually glad this was posted here--I never look at the regional section, so I wouldn't have seen it otherwise. No need to bury the information in a place where no one looks.

    Most Superchargers Visited

Then you should remove me from your tally altogether. I don't yet own a Tesla--have been visiting the supercharger sites to understand how well the road-trip problem has been addressed (and decide if I like the placement & nearby facilities) prior to stretching myself financially. Mods--...

    Supercharger - Lumberton, NC

Yea, when I was there today, it was clear they were just getting started--the workers were diging a trench in front of the parking spaces to route conduit/high voltage wires. We also stopped by the Santee Supercharger, and they still have a couple of crates and a shipping container on-site...

    Tesla Supercharger network

How are the locations for the other under-construction locations discovered? I'm guessing through some public notice website as a result of the permitting process? There's not really anything around the I-95/I-26 interchange, so I would guess the location is going to be inconvenient for people...
