I had the same issue a day or two after delivery. I reset the panel (2 button push) and that didn’t seem to do it, but it resolved itself after a day or two. Sounds like interference &/or compass calibration. I would pass on the service visit and see if it resolves itself.

I guess the trouble with that could be that it could self lock in the tunnel, then roll out with no attendant behind the wheel (possibly downhill) in neutral into another car/traffic etc. Could be ugly.

Seems like this would be a super simple add on to the top layer of the map display. It could be a accessed via a radio button on the bottom right along with Satellite/Traffic/Supercharger options. This would not be very date intensive at all and add to the long list of safety features...
