App does not connect since update

OK, the problem appears to be gone. At minimum, it's working both at home and at work where it has consistently failed over the past month or so. I'm not really sure of the duration. Anyway, it was consistently failing before, and it's not now. I'm not sure what fixed it. The service center...

App does not connect since update

I'm hoping it gets figured out for everyone. A software fix would be great since it would help more people than just me. It wouldn't explain why a hardware swap fixed yours, though, unless there is a hardware issue with a software workaround.

App does not connect since update

It's funny you say that because while I was at the service center talking to a Technician (more on that in a minute), 2022.44.2 started downloading on mine. My wife and I joked that would probably fix it. So, I did finally get to talk to a Tech. He showed us their app, saying it was basically...

App does not connect since update

Tesla chat says they are able to wake the car remotely. When I tried the app very shortly after that message, I still can't access the car, so maybe it went back to sleep, or maybe they didn't actually try it at that time. If Tesla can wake the car remotely, I think that would mean it's not...

App does not connect since update

Sorry for the late reply. I basically forgot about posting, and I wasn't receiving thread notifications. The issue is still the same as before, and it's actually sitting at the Service Center right now after another round of them telling it's fine. This time, it was scheduled for a...

App does not connect since update

My MYLR was in Service all day yesterday with the same symptoms. Nothing will wake it other than Bluetooth comms, not including climate. The estimate said they planned to replace the computer, not the communications card, TLA,AP3.2.CAR.COMP,MY,NA - PROVISIONED(1775000-S0, but the invoice said...

Gen 2 NEMA 14-50 backed down to 8A

A mobile service tech replaced this for me today, and I'm back up and charging full speed, but I'm curious as to what happened. I had been charging using this setup at home, Gen2 MC with 14-50 at 32A, for about 6 months. When I went on vacation, I took the mobile connector with me. There was...

    Walk-away mode

Maybe the tech turned it off so that the car didn't lock while he was working. Edit: I now see that it is working intermittently after reenabling. My wife said she say ours not lock a time or two when we first got ours, but I have not seen it happen in more than three weeks now. Nothing while...

    Apps and battery drainage

I see about 1% per 8 hours in sleep.

    Apps and battery drainage

Is the car sleeping, or is it always online? I have Teslamate and Tezlab activated now, and they do still allow the car to sleep. If you have Sentry Mode enabled, that will prevent the car from sleeping.

The Cancer that is Phantom Braking

Unfortunately, I deleted it after reviewing it. There wasn't much to see, though. If I didn't know where the car decelerated, I never would have been able to find it in the video.

The Cancer that is Phantom Braking

I can't say for certain that it was "real" phantom braking, but on my first commute running 2020.40.3, I had my first case of hard deceleration. I took a dashcam recording, but it is really hard to see that way. There was a bright sunrise off to my 11 o clock. It happened as I was passing a...

    Software update 2020.40.x?

It looks like 2020.40.3 is starting to be rolled out to more cars, but the majority is still on 2020.36.11. TeslaFi.com Firmware Tracker

Level 1 charging sufficient for low daily miles?

I had read the same, but this video shows otherwise.

Missing rubber seal on rear door

Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about what they call it. Just open a service ticket, attach that photo, perhaps circle the missing piece, and note that you want "that thing" installed.
