Just spoke to another person in my area who took delivery via carrier five days after me and already received his certificate but nothing for me...and silence from Tesla. Love the car just wish we could drive it.

Planning to make use of my adapter on a trip to Northwest Arkansas soon, where there are no Superchargers of which to speak.

I would pay at least $1,000 for this adapter. Way cheaper than upgrading to long range and would greatly increase fast charging opportunities here in Oklahoma/South Central US (Arkansas is even worse for lack of Superchargers).

EDIT: looks like on what I am waiting on is the Manufacturer Certificate of Origin (looks like a title but is from Tesla). Others on this forum and the Tesla official forum have said it takes as many as 2.5-3 weeks to receive this. What a bummer. Thanks for the response. If anyone else has...

I feel you. Might depend on state. Oklahoma says they need “assigned Manufacturers Certificate of Origin” which I am confident that I don’t have. Would check with NM DMV to find out.

Anyone take delivery recently? Had it directly shipped but it is illegal to drive until Tesla sends me the paperwork to register my car at the tag agency. Tesla has been on radio silence since I took delivery.

Sorry to activate a zombie thread, but has anyone took delivery via direct (carrier delivery) lately? Took delivery about two weeks ago, and radio silence from Tesla on delivery of the registration paperwork (I need these to get temp tags in Oklahoma!)
